On Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, died of Leslie Nielsen, the man who gave us much joy. The actor was 84 years and died at a hospital near his home where he has been treated according to the New York Times pneumonia.
Ironically, Nielsen at the beginning of his career has been noticed as an actor in a dramatic, and the first role he played in the film Forbidden Planet sf. His career took off when he was cast as Dr. Rumack in Airplane. Two years later, as Lt. Frank Drebin playing in the series Police Squad was already a star and was nominated for an Emmy. The Naked Gun, Spy Hard, Wrongfully Accused, and Dracula Dead and Loving It, these titles perfect parody fans. Leslie Nielsen was born February 11, 1926 in Regina, in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan was the son of a Dane Ingvarda Nielsen and Maybelle.
